About

JDT Construction Inc. is a residential builder based in Hamilton, Ontario. It is a general contractor for homeowners: renovations, additions, additional dwelling units (ADUs), and builds like covered porches, decks and garages. Its way of working is written down: a picture of your own house with the new work drawn in, one proposal with the whole scope and price, payments in stages, written change orders, and a project page where you follow the job.

## What does JDT build?

[Covered porches](https://www.jdtconstruction.ca/builds/covered-porches/) with their roofs tied into the house, [decks](https://www.jdtconstruction.ca/builds/decks/), and [detached garages](https://www.jdtconstruction.ca/builds/garages/), from the footings up.

## What is the logo?

A roof truss over the letters JDT: the king post truss that carries a gable roof, the same piece that tops a covered porch or a garage.

## How does a job run?

Drawn, written, staged and shared. You see the new work on your own house before the price; the proposal lists the work in sections in the order it is built; payments follow the stages; and your project page holds the progress photos, the updates and every document. JDT's jobs, crews and subcontractors run on its own app, the same one that gives you your project page. The [agreements page](https://www.jdtconstruction.ca/terms/) has the details.
